In social studies, we will begin
the year with a general overview of geography. This will be followed by our Iowa unit. After winter break we will
study Canada. In the spring we will study the countries south of the United States. Get set to learn interesting things
about the hemisphere you live in.
In reading, our focus will be on improving our skills and
enjoying good literature. A variety of text types will be used. I am a passionate reader and hope my students
will develop skills and attitudes that make them want to read, read, read!
